Central Police Organisations Examinations-2009 for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in various Central Government Police Organisations like CRPF, ITBP, CBI, SSB, CISF, BSF etc.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold on 06/09/2009 an open competitive examination on All-India basis for recruitment to the posts of Sub-Inspectors .
Sub-Inspectors in Central Police Forces : 2153 posts, Age : 20 to 25 years as on 26/06/2009. Age relaxation of 5 years to SC/ST candiates and 3 years to OBC candidates., Educational Qualification : Bachelor's Degree in any stream from a recognised University or equivalent, Pay Scale : PB-2 Rs.9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs.4200 Cantre of Examination and Address to which Applications should be sent : The applications should be addressed to the Regional Office of the SSC as listed here;

Scheme of Exam : The examination will consist of two parts
(i) Written Exam carrying 500 marks and
(ii) Personality Test (Interview) will carry 100 marks
Fee Payable : Rs.100/- (No fee for SC/ST and Ex-Servicemen) by menas of Central Recruitment Fee Stamps only, available at head post office all over the ocuntry.
